General notes
We find people often go down a size in our clothing when compared with many other mainstream brands. If you are often between sizes, choose the lower size with FMO clothing.
Although we try our absolute hardest to keep our sizing consistent across all styles - every now and then a style will come out a little differently. Your fit preference (ie close or tighter fit vs relaxed fit) can also be a factor in choosing your correct size.
To help choose the correct size it’s always a good idea to check the product description for any FIT NOTES for that style (ie. true to size, relaxed fit, size down for a closer fit etc.).
We also include the measurements of each garment lying flat. This means you can measure a similar garment at home to compare or you can multiply these numbers by two to compare with your body measurements. Where an item has stretch or a 'relaxed fit' you can allow an extra 3-5 cm of room.
You can also email us with any questions or help to workshop your size - we love to help!
Taking accurate body measurements
Measure your bust with your bra on and horizontally across the middle which is the largest point. The waist measurement is your true waist which is generally where it is the narrowest and is about two finger width underneath where your rib cage ends. Your hip measurement should be measured at the widest point. This point will vary depending on your body shape.
When measuring make sure the tape measure is perfectly horizontal around your body and firm against your skin but not squeezing in.
